Mikaela Toone is a Montreal-based journalist, copywriter, and emerging video game narrative designer.
Previously, Mikaela has worked as a copywriter for Girl Guides of Canada, and as the Associate Editor of Arts and News at The Varsity newspaper.
Her short fiction, poetry, and journalism have been published in This Magazine, MTL Blog, The Varsity, Pulse Magazine, UC Review, The Spectatorial, and The Strand.
Alongside writing, Mikaela also constructs crossword puzzles and designs video-games.
She has a keen eye for detail, frequently experiments with patterns and form, and enjoys working within challenging constraints.
